Friendship Volunteers Know How to Party!

What an incredible night celebrating every Friendship volunteer during the VIP Party!

Pastor Dave shared his love for every volunteer and laid out some exciting stuff that is to come for the volunteers at Friendship as we continue to grow and make every Sunday morning experience effective for each person who walks through the doors of Friendship!

Here is the cliff notes version of his personal message to every volunteer:

We have over 180 volunteers who give, sacrifice, and serve constantly
Friendship has over 50% engagement of those 5th grade through adult in some type of service – it’s unheard of!
You are the reason that we keep growing; and every person who commits their life to Christ, every family that’s restored, every life that is healed is a direct result of your service, from sharing a cup of coffee to changing a poopy diaper, YOU ARE MAKING A DIFFERENCE!
Last year attendance averages were 307. YTD we are averaging 365; that’s with road closings and incredibly limited access…God keeps blessing because you keep serving!
MOMENTUM Update: We have now signed the loan papers, we’re waiting on permits, and we’ve already started digging the new sanitary line, so the official building part should start after Labor Day as long as nothing happens.
I believe that we will be running 600 within the next 12-18months, and that’s why it’s so important for us to keep serving.
The Swag Bags that you received contain t-shirts for your specific team because you will be the people who communicate the culture of Friendship to the next crop, you will be the ones carrying the vision, so we want to make sure you are visible.

We had an amazing night and we know that the best is yet to come for every person of Friendship Church as we glorify God as an effective and influential church!
