Baptism

Jesus tells us that when someone becomes a disciple, or what we would call a Christian today, the next step in the process of spiritual growth is to “go public” with their faith. Baptism symbolizes a person’s commitment to Christ. Baptism doesn’t make you a Christian, it simply let’s everyone else know that you are a Christian.

Romans 6:4-6 (NIV)

We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his. For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin—

PARENTS PLEASE NOTE: Prior to being baptized any child 12 years old/4th grade and under, along with their parent(s), will need to meet with someone in the Church Office. We will contact the parent for a meeting.
