If your future dreams outpace your current resources you’re on the right track!
God is with you so be bold!!!
1 Corinthians 2:9 NLT
That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.”
If your future dreams outpace your current resources you’re on the right track!
“A Big Dream always seems overwhelming at first. Ultimately, a Big Dream is aimed at meeting a Big Need in the world. While you still have breath, it’s never too late to act on your Dream!”
― Bruce Wilkinson, The Dream Giver
Matthew 7:7-8 NIV
Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.
Christ commands us to boldly A.S.K.
Matthew 7:9-11 NLT
You parents—if your children ask for a loaf of bread, do you give them a stone instead? Or if they ask for a fish, do you give them a snake? Of course not! So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give good gifts to those who ask him.
Our responsibility is to ask, God’s responsibility is to answer.

Asking isn’t as much about faith as it is about obedience!
Remain Inspired
Remain in the Land of Possibility
Remain in Christ
John 15:7 NIV
If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
Acts 4:13 ESV
Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated, common men, they were astonished. And they recognized that they had been with Jesus.
Even just thinking about it, allowing your mind to possibly believe that it might in some remote way actually become reality causes you to feel overwhelmed, underprepared, and completely foolish!

- Have you ever experienced the death of a dream?
- Have you ever asked for something and not received it?
- Have you ever sought for something and not received it?
- Have you ever knocked and the door wasn’t opened?
- So, is Jesus overpromising and underdelivering?
Far too often we answer for people even before we’ve asked them if they are interested! “They’ll just say no” “They’ll think it’s stupid” “They won’t want to be a part of it”

- What’s the worst thing that can happen, they say no…you don’t want them anyways!
- Asking helps define your team, who you can count on, who you can run with!

I struggle with this sometimes in church work. You pour your life into someone, help save their marriage, encourage them when they are struggling, countless coffees…then they leave.
Sometimes they are polite enough to actually let you know, but more often then not they are too much of a coward to actually say anything, they just disappear. It hurts, it feels incredibly personal…Maybe you’ve experienced something similar, some of the people around you that you counted on flaked out…what should we do?
