There are different kinds of spiritual gifts, but the same Spirit is the source of them all.
There are different kinds of service, but we serve the same Lord.
God works in different ways, but it is the same God who does the work in all of us.
A spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each other.
…All of you together are Christ’s body, and each of you is a part of it.

Each of you has received a gift to use to serve others. Be good servants of God’s various gifts of grace.

We can do way more than Me can do

and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.

How many ever played a team sport?
Depending upon the sport you could have anywhere from 2 (beach volleyball) to 22 (football). Every team sport has lots of team members. Each of them has different skill sets and responsibilities on the team. And when you look at those teams you realize that there is this large group of people, but there is only one person in charge, the head coach!
He tells everyone where they are supposed to be, he makes sure everyone knows their role, He makes sure everyone is held accountable, he makes sure that if a player needs help he gets it!

Church isn’t for perfect people! If your perfect, you’d better leave right now, cause we are going to mess you up! Church is for messed up people, who need a God to rescue them! We don’t come in just to admire each other and see how perfect we all are, we are to come on Sundays to get our hands a little dirty. We are to live our lives as followers of Jesus Christ knowing that if Jesus rescued me He could rescue my neighbor, co-worker, dockmate, boss, friend…

We don’t come to church just so that we can sit and watch, you’ll notice their aren’t any “Crandall Jersey’s” for sale at the Connection Center.

If you are not using your gift, you are not walking in step with the Spirit, and you are making other people carry your weight and your workload…and they can’t do it as well as you can!
