Monday Morning Quarterback | September 12th

The problem of evil is very real, but it’s not God’s problem!
There Is A Solution
None of us will ever forget the exact moment we heard of the tragedies of September 11th, and it’s our prayer that after yesterday’s message challenged you to better understand the state of our world. Because even though the problem of evil is not God’s problem, He loves us so much that He created the solution to the problem. The solution is not found in something that we do, it’s found in accepting something that He has already done.
The 5:
A recap of Dave Crandall’s Message,
“If God is so good why is there evil and suffering?”
in 5 points or less.
- The goodness of God is expressed through His love.
- Even though the problem of evil is not God’s problem, He loves us so much that He created the solution to the problem.
- The solution is not found in something that we do, it’s found in accepting something that He has already done.
- Only when we accept His love, expressed through Jesus Christ, can the evil within each of us begin to be repaired, can our lives begin to be made whole again.
- If we want to conquer evil in this world or in ourselves we must embrace the goodness of God.

Kids Zone: Take It Home With You!
What We Learned:
Gideon started out against his enemies with 32,000 men. But God only let him fight the battle with 300! The enemy was described as a swarm of locusts, and their camels like grains of sand on the seashore. With just 300 men God proved that he is all we need even in the face of impossible odds. To read more about this epic Bible battle, check out Judges 7: 1-22
In The Car:
Tell your kids about a time when you faced impossible odds. How did God give you the victory? Or did you try to take it on without God, and how did that turn out?
At Bedtime:
Thank God for always being there for us! Thank him for his strength and mighty power, and that we can always rely on him for victory. God is all we need!
