"My favorite thing about serving at Friendship is serving with other people - I've made some incredible friendships through each team I've served on."

At Friendship we believe the Church is not a building, it’s people, serving together to glorify God as an effective and influential church. So, each week, we’ll highlight a volunteer or staff member who serves at Friendship, because our volunteers and staff make everything we do possible! We’ve asked each person some fun questions to help you get to know them better.

Every week, Sarah Pead shares what’s happening at Friendship, but did you know her proudest moment in life was when she became a mommy, or that if she had a super power it would be to “dance real good”?

What brought you to Friendship originally?

After living in Chicago for a year, Dustin and I began looking for full-time ministry opportunities. The moment we found Friendship and were extended the opportunity to check it out, we knew this was the place God wanted us for the long haul!

What is the last book you have read?

From This Day Forward by Craig Groeschel

Which cartoon character is your favorite?

Do Disney Princesses count? Haha! Then Sleeping Beauty

What is your biggest fear?

Failing

If you had to choose one food to eat for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Mac N Cheese

Who inspires you the most?

My husband, Dustin.

Do you have any pet peeves? If so, what are they?

Dirty dishes, people who don’t use their signal when turning, and whining

What is your most memorable moment at Friendship?

There are so many of them, but one that currently stands on top is probably the VIP Party because I LOVED being able to celebrate all of the incredible volunteers who passionately serve Jesus every week at Friendship.

Which household chore do you dread doing?

Washing laundry, folding laundry, putting laundry away, looking at laundry, all the things that have to do with laundry

What is your favorite day of the week?

Friday, it’s the start of our weekend, and usually is an opportunity for Dustin and I to have a “date day” – even if that means grocery shopping. It’s just a refreshing day to decompress from the week and enjoy time together. We also do pizza and a movie with the kids every Friday night, which is always fun – unless we’re watching Frozen for the 15th time! Haha!
