"My favorite part of Sunday mornings is musical worship. Dustin and the gang knock it out every week and it just gets my heart dancing for Jesus."
At Friendship we believe the Church is not a building, it’s people, serving together to glorify God as an effective and influential church. So, each week, we highlight a volunteer or staff member who serves at Friendship, because our volunteers and staff make everything we do possible! We’ve asked each person some fun questions to help you get to know them better.
“We recently moved to the area and needed a new church. After trying a couple of others we had not decided where were going yet as of 8:30 on a Sunday morning. After a Google search and seeing that Friendship is Fun, Relevant, & Never a Waste of Your Time, we decided to give it a try (and it was really close to our house). We’ve been committed since!” Now, on many Sunday mornings, you’ll see Ryan waving and smiling in the parking lot, allowing guests to experience that same fun, relevant experience. #WeLoveOurVolunteers

Do you have any hobbies during your spare time?
I love to do puzzles – crosswords, sudokus, etc.
What would be your biggest fear?
Rational – anything happening to my wife and son. Irrational – snakes…the root of all evil in my opinion.
What would be your dream vacation?
African Safari!
If you had a super power, what would it be?
Flying – I could travel so many places and so much quicker, all without TSA.
What is your favorite scripture?
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. (Galatians 6:9 NIV)
Name one person, living or deceased, that you would like to have a conversation with.
Easy answer is Jesus. But my paternal grandmother for sure. She was my closest grandparent and passed before my wife and son were ever in the picture, I’d love for her to meet them and play cards with Morgan.
What is your favorite restaurant?
Texas Roadhouse – same meal every time.
What is your favorite part of Sunday mornings at Friendship?
When I’m not in the parking lot, it’s worship. Dustin and the gang knock it out every week and it just gets my heart dancing for Jesus.
What is your proudest moment in life?
MomentS – the birth of my son and now all of those cheesy, but real, proud dad moments watching him grow, learn, and accomplish new things that are huge to him.
What are you guilty pleasure foods?
Peanut butter & chocolate combos, cookies, candy, donuts (do I have a sweet tooth?!), and pizza.
