Small changes in the words we speak create a BIG impact in the lives we live. #SmallThingsBigDifference
The 5:
A recap of Josh Miller’s message “Your Words” in 5 points or less.
- If you don’t have anything nice to say, shut up.
- If you have something nice to say, speak up.
- In whatever you say, look up.
- The things you say can make a difference in someone else’s life.
- God gave you a voice – do not miss an opportunity to help one another or to build up one another.

Kids Zone: Take It Home With You!
What We Learned:
God uses the future to help us learn to trust him even though we don’t know what’s coming next. Check out 1 Samuel 24 to see how David trusted God even though he didn’t know if he would live another day. This week we want kids to talk to God about their fears, and to ask for his help to overcome them!
In the car:
Tell your kids about a time when you let the fear of the future influence you to make a sinful choice, like worrying about something. Tell them how you asked God for help and how he helped you! Or tell the kids how you didn’t ask for God’s help and instead made it worse. It’s great for kids to see the real struggles even grown ups have trusting God, BUT that when we do, God is always faithful!
At bedtime:
Pray with your kids thanking God for his unchanging and unfailing love. Ask God to help your family trust Him instead of worrying or being afraid about the future.
