When we thank God for the past it builds trust for the future! #ThisIsOurJubilee
A Year of Trust & Thanksgiving
We always stop around thanksgiving time, sometimes for a week, sometimes for a month and look back at God’s faithfulness, we celebrate his provision, and we dream about the future, about the great things He’s about to do. We remind ourselves why we do this, To Glorify God as an Effective and Influential Church, and we resolve ourselves to believe that the Best is Yet to come!
The 5:
A recap of Dave Crandall’s Message,
“A Year of Trust & Thanksgiving” in 5 points or less.
- God knows that if we forget what He did, we’d loose faith.
- Trust is expanded when the past is remembered.
- We believe it’s going to be an amazing Tension Releasing, Culture Amplifying, Community Building 3 months!
- What are some things that you can do personally or as a family to remember and celebrate what God has done?
- It’s time to create intentional breaks and pauses to remember God’s faithfulness.

Kids Zone: Take It Home With You!
What We Learned:
We are called to go and tell the world about Jesus! This means living what we believe by obeying God, working hard, doing good, helping people, and most of all–loving them! Read more about this in Matthew 28:19-20, Titus 3:4-8, 3:14, 2 Timothy 4:5.
In The Car:
Tell your kids how you effectively or successfully have invited someone to church because of the difference God has made in your life, or how you have effectively told someone about Jesus! If you haven’t yet, challenge the whole family to invite a friend to church next Sunday!
At Bedtime:
Pray with your kids, thanking God that someone effectively showed you the way to Jesus! Thank him for giving us everything we need to tell others about you. Ask God to give you the right words, and the right timing to tell someone you know and love about Jesus!
Weekly Challenge:
Be Effective By Showing God’s Love!
Kids have been challenged this series to memorize the VISION of Friendship Church, To Glorify God as an Effective and Influential Church. This week kids are challenged to take the Effective part of our VISION and put it into action by showing someone Gods awesome love. It can be in any way they choose! Especially with Thanksgiving around the corner, there has never been a better time to spread God’s love to someone else!
