"God created spouses to complete and compliment, not compete and criticize!" -Dave Crandall
The FIVE:
A recap of Dave Crandall’s Message, “Encouragement”
in 5 points or less.
- When you say I do, your life, happiness, future, success, and potential is now directly tied to that person…if you are not married yet, choose wisely!
- If you are married there is hope, but you’ve got to learn how to be an encourager!
- This world wants nothing more than to tear us down, chew us up, and spit us out. We need to be our spouses biggest encourager, strongest supporter, and loudest cheerleader. Only then can we truly feel that we are ‘in this together’ instead of fighting by ourselves.
- Encouraging your spouse literally places courage in them just like “entrust” means to place trust in someone. Good encouragement will cause your spouse to be filled with courage.
- Three Statements Your Spouse Needs to ‘Hear’ From You: I believe in you; I will help you achieve your dreams; I will join you in our adventure.
