Stocking Stuffers
“I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.” (Romans 15:13)
During the Christmas season, we tend to focus on Jesus, and rightly so, but Jesus doesn’t come empty handed — he comes bearing gifts. Now, these gifts aren’t the primary gift, that’s salvation through Jesus Christ. These gifts are more like, well, stocking stuffers at Christmas. These little gifts tucked away in our stockings hung so gently over the mantle may not be the main gift, but they make the enjoyment of the day that much better and that much more special!
