From the time we receive our first allowance, to that first “real” paycheck, we’re told that if we earned it, it’s ours, so we’d better hold tightly to it.
Money is what buys us happiness, right? It’s what we use to get what we want…It keeps us safe and secure…right?
But maybe we’ve got it all wrong…
What if our happiness or our hopelessness was not tied to our bank account? That everything we have, really isn’t ours. But instead God has given us everything we need and that He has a plan for our financial security.
And if we truly embraced this idea, that whether we make $50 a week or $5000 a week, we can be satisfied, surrendered, stable, stewards of the resources He’s given us.
