You’re a part of Something Bigger

Romans 10:13-15 NLT

For “Everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved.” But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is why the Scriptures say, “How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!”

You are sent by God

John 20:21 HCSB

Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.”

You are sent to tell

2 Corinthians 5:17-18 NLT

This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ. And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him.

You are sent all places

Acts 1:8 NLT

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

So…What exactly is God asking me to do?

• Invest in those closest to you. (Matthew 11:19)
• Invite them to see for themselves. (John 1:40-46)
