The fulfillment of His purpose in you, is dependent upon you believing His promise! #MoreOrLess
We wrapped up #MoreOrLess yesterday. It’s our prayer that through this series you have discovered that God is not just a God of enough, He is a God of more, especially when we become less and allow Him to lead our lives. He desires for you to experience more in your influence, family, and impact.
Next week we’re launching into something that only God could have done. At times it’s felt like we’d never get there. Like this dream was bigger than anything that could really happen. BUT God in His faithfulness has made it all possible for us to shake the south side with His glory! Because with God, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE! We’ll see you for #EasterAtFriendship
The 5:
A recap of Dave Crandall’s Message, “Impact” in 5 points or less.
- It’s not about your ability, it’s about His.
- Anything is possible when you do it for God’s glory, when we do it for ours there are immediate, impossible, and impenetrable limitations!
- If we do it for our glory, it’s limited by who we are.
- When you recognize your own weakness, that when you can access His strength.
- Be a mom, be an office worker, be a truck driver for the glory of God!

What We Learned:
The Bible is filled with strange occurrences and odd events. The strangest and most amazing is how much God loves us and how he wants us to live forever with him. In the book of Revelation, God gives us a picture of a time when there will be no more pain and suffering. Then we will be with God for all eternity. Our Big Idea to focus on this week is God Wants Us To Be With Him Forever!
In The Car:
Ask your kids about their lesson on Sunday, and what they think Heaven will look like based on what they read in the Bible. Your kids may have specific questions this week about what heaven will be like, or what happens when we die. Answer the questions that you feel comfortable addressing. For the others, explore the answers together; seeking the wisdom of a pastor, teacher, or other mentor. It’s important for kids to hear, “I don’t know!” from adults. This shows them even grown ups need to seek God’s wisdom, and that church is the perfect spot to do that!
At Bedtime:
Read 1 Corinthians 2:9 in your Bible. Pray with your kids, thanking Jesus for making all things new! Thank him for being able to TRUST in that this week. Get your eyes off of your own weaknesses, short-comings, and failings and plant them firmly on Christ and what he is doing in your life and the lives of your kids. Ask God to remind you all throughout each day that he is at work, and we can put our hope in him!
