- The only goodness in our lives is a direct result of the grace of God; we can’t take credit for our goodness.
- Compare yourself to Christ, and constantly be growing.
- God’s graciousness has given you either the ability to achieve or simply gave you those things that you have.
- To assume that you did it on your own is to ignore the hand of God in everything in our world.
- When we believe in our own ability we place ourselves in opposition to God; we by our arrogance have made the Creator of the Universe our enemy, which means that we have guaranteed our own failure.
