All of us are works of art and artists at work.” #TheArtisanSoul
The 5:
A recap of Erwin McManus’s Message, “Unusual Miracle” in 5 points or less.
- God calls us to bring what we have so that when we bring what we have he touches it and it gives us what it becomes after He has been a part of it.
- God’s not asking you to create something out of nothing. He’s asking you to take what you already have, that he’s already given you, and bring it to him so he can do more with it and you, and use it to make the world better.
- Every artist creates out of their essence, and God could never create anything that wasn’t the best in the world. When God gets involved, it’s always the best!
- We need to give Jesus our best selves because he deserves the best of all we are!
- God calls us to obedience so that we can be free. God wants us to trust him and obey his voice so that we might live free and live the life he has created for us to live.

Sunday Nights: What a Party!
Last night was one big party as we celebrated with three more people who let everyone know they follow Jesus, by taking their next step through baptism! Celebrate with Kylee, Amy, and Lois!
Is Baptism your next step?
Kids Zone: Take It Home With You!
What We Learned:
A father was desperate, his son was possessed by an evil spirit, and even the disciples couldn’t drive it out. He had no hope that anything could be done, and felt powerless to help his child. Then Jesus showed up, drove the demon out, and healed the boy! When this father was at the end of his rope, Jesus gave him HOPE! Read Matthew 17:14-21 to find out more about these truths!
In The Car:
Tell your kids of a time when you felt hopeless or helpless as a parent. How did Jesus help you and/or your child from the situation?
At Bedtime:
Pray and thank God for your child and for having each other. Even when it looks like the mess of life is just too big to handle, thank God for knowing that he gives us hope no matter what kind of mess is going on around us!
Equipping Our Families:
Some lessons in the Bible can be a little scary, even for us adults! If your child has any questions relating to our lesson today, or the Bible in general, we want to help equip you as parents with the answers your kids are seeking. Let us know if we can by emailing our Director at jamie@experiencefriendship.com!
