1. Sin convinces us to do and to say things to win favor with those that we want to include us, and often that comes at the expense of someone else, and usually leads to gossip, slander, maliciousness.
2. In genuine relationships, trust is the foundational element.
3. God created us to enjoy good, positive, uplifting relationships, and gossip makes that impossible.
4. Four forms of gossip: drama gossip, secrets gossip, juicy gossip, and false gossip.
5. To conquer gossip we must identify and avoid it, and restrict and quit it.
