- The church is the extension of the ministry of Jesus Christ, and Jesus made it very clear why he came, “for the Son of Man came to seek and save the lost,” (Luke 19:10 NIV).
- The genuinely found are willing to leave everything, they’re willing to do anything to find others, and they never forget that they were once the ones in need of being found!
- You exist to bring lost people, just like you, to Jesus Christ.
- Jesus chooses the ordinary to do the extraordinary; heals the hopeless to demonstrate his power; restores the lame to silence his critics; and embraces the outcasts to reveal his heart!

Kids Zone: Take It Home With You!
What We Learned:
Be loyal like Ruth, choose God! Ruth had a choice to leave her widowed mother-in-law Naomi and go back to her family, or to stay with her and follow God. Ruth was loyal, she chose God over what was comfortable. This week kids were challenged to be loyal, and to follow God boldly like Ruth!
In the car:
Tell kids about a time where you had to make a choice between what was comfortable and familiar, or leaving all of that behind to follow God in some way? Maybe you didn’t choose God…let your kids know how those choices impacted your future!
At bedtime:
Pray with your kids thanking God that they have a family who loves and follows God! Pray for families who have suffered loss, or who don’t all follow God. Pray that they may choose God one day!
