Your scars could be the key that unlocks someone else's prison. -Dave Crandall #ProofThatGodHeals
The 5:
A recap of Dave Crandall’s Message, “Sacred Scars” in 5 points or less.
- Our scars are proof that God heals, and at some point in our life we will undoubtedly encounter others who have gone through similar pain, and they’ll need hope from you to know that healing is possible!
- God wants to take our painful scars and turn them into a sacred promise, a promise that says “He will always heal, bring restoration, and redemption!”
- Share your scars in a way that gives God the praise.
- Share your scars with the purpose of providing comfort.
- Share your scars because it adds to your own healing.

We don’t always do Sunday Nights, but when we do, it’s a party!
There is no party greater this side of heaven, than one that celebrates people going from death to life! Last night we celebrated as 6 people took their Next Step through baptism to tell the world that they follow Jesus!
Is Baptism your Next Step?
Kids Zone: Take It Home With You!
What We Learned:
Stick with God! No matter what! Kids learned that a person of character trusts God no matter how difficult things get. In the Bible, Daniel was thrown into a lion’s den for following God. Read more about how Daniel continued to trust God no matter what in Daniel 6:1-23!
In the car:
Ask your kids if they have ever been scared to stick with God. Have they ever thought they knew better instead? Share a time when you did or didn’t choose to stick with God, and how it turned out. Let them know it can be scary to follow God, especially when we don’t know what’s going to happen. But we can TRUST that God is faithful and is always working things out for the best!
At bedtime:
Pray with your kids thanking God that we can trust him! Thank him for keeping Daniel safe, and pray that he will keep your kids safe as they make big choices to stick with God this school year, even if the consequences seem overwhelming!
