The fool rejects knowledge and won’t learn from experience.
You Can Walk the Path of Life and Freedom!
God can help you seek wisdom and those who can give it to you. He can help you start making wiser decisions. All you have to do is ask. This week let’s follow the path of life by rejecting the path of the foolish.
The 5:
A recap of Dave Crandall’s Message, “The Fool”
in 5 points or less.
- The fool can only stop being a fool by accepting the truth and changing his ways.
- Wisdom is the ability to apply knowledge and experience when making decisions in life!
- There are only two paths: the path of wisdom and the path of folly.
- “Wisdom” leads to life and “folly” is only the way to death.
- Folly only masquerades as a way of life, but it leads only to the followers death and destruction!

Kids Zone: Take It Home With You!
What We Learned:
Joseph went from a boy, to a slave, to a prisoner, to second in line to the Pharaoh! He was given the responsibility of saving thousands and thousands of people from starving to death. Even in his situation as a slave and prisoner, he showed God that he was responsible with the smallest tasks. And because of this God used him for something huge! Read more about it in Genesis 41:33-57.
In The Car:
Talk to your kids about responsibilities around the house. What are grown-up-only responsibilities? What are kid responsibilities? Is it time to shake things up and reassign these, or do the kids need to start taking the small things more seriously? When we are responsible with the little things, God will do big things through us!
At Bedtime:
Thank God for taking responsibility for the whole world! Thank him for never giving up on loving us, and failing to do his job as God! Pray that we would better understand how being faithful in even the littlest ways shows our love for God. Ask him to help you be responsible this week!
Weekly Challenge:
Be Responsible with Little & God Will Do Big Things Through Us!
This week kids are challenged to take responsibility for the little things to prepare them for the big things in life. Can they clean their room better than ever, take on a new chore around the house, or just take responsibility for their current chores? Whatever the case, even the littlest kids can show how they are taking responsibility in a new way this week!
