The church is the hope of the world!
There’s nothing like the church when the church is working right!
The eternal destiny of my neighbor hangs in the balance so we better get it right!
Reach 1 – Coach Up – Multiply
Matthew 28:18-20 NIV
Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything
I have commanded you.And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Acts 1:7-8 NIV
He said to them: “It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
Our Neighborhood Strategy:
- Find our largest neighborhood concentrations
- Recruit a neighborhood team
- Develop and Fund a neighborhood strategy
- Invite the neighborhood to connect with Friendship
- Establish neighborhood groups

The CHURCH is called to reach the world, Friendship church is called to reach our world!
Southside of Indianapolis, 10 min driving distance, population is 260,000,
Probably similar to how the disciples thought when Jesus said, reach the world…
But, Jesus didn’t just give them the goal, he gave them the formula too!
In Acts 1:7-8 God telling us it’s not for us to know: Don’t worry about the outcome, focus on your responsibility)
Jesus says, “Listen this is really simple! First, realize that you’re not doing this in your own power. I’m going to give you the power and the strength to do it. Second, the only thing I’m asking you to do is simply tell your story, that’s it! Finally, I’m not asking you to win the world today. I want you to focus on the people who are right next to you.” (Look like you, talk like you, like the same things, kids go to the same schools, root for the same teams, you live in the same neighborhood!)
