We have been called To Life! #ThisIsOurJubilee
We Shook the Rafters!
There is no greater name than the name of Jesus, and no other reason to live this life to the fullest! As we’ve wrapped up our Vision Series, Jubilee!, let’s take this year of rest and give God all the glory for it – because the best is yet to come!
The 5:
A recap of Dave Crandall’s Message, “A Year of Joy & Celebration”
in 5 points or less.
- Abundant life cannot be lived alone, it must be shared with others; both the joy and the sorrow, the celebration and the pain.
- “Our lives were designed to be community projects.” -Paul Tripp, Whiter Than Snow: Meditations on Sin and Mercy
- In every situation in life there is a potential negative and a potential positive, always choose to see the positive, always choose life!
- We have been called To Life! Not just any life, not just a life, but to abundant, overflowing, ever-growing, exponentially fulfilled life!!!
- Jesus didn’t just die to save you, he died to set you free, he died so you could LIVE!

Kids Zone: Take It Home With You!
What We Learned:
Mary was visited by an angel who told her she would have God’s Son. Mary responded in obedience and humility as she followed God’s amazing plan for her life. Check out more about what we read in Luke 1:26-45!
In The Car:
Tell your kids about a Christmas memory you have about helping someone, or doing some kind of service project to help those in need? How can your family spread God’s love this Christmas?
At Bedtime:
To get your family in the Christmas spirit, read along in your Bibles with us every Sunday leading up to Christmas! This week read Luke 1:26-45. Then pray together thanking God for choosing every day normal people like us to tell the world about his greatest gift; Jesus Christ.
Weekly Challenge:
God Chooses Every Day People for His Most Special Jobs
It was clear from our lesson that Mary had one person who she could trust, and she knew would believe her, her cousin Elizabeth! Who in your life has had a special impact on you? Is it a friend or a family member who is there for you through thick and thin? Is it an adult who really cares about you? Don’t waste your thankfulness this Christmas season, let them know! Call them this week, write them a letter, or ask your parents for permission to text them. No matter how you do it, let someone know just how big of a blessing they are to you!
