31 Days of Wisdom | Day 28
Sunday, August 28th 2016
Better is a poor man who walks in his integrity than a rich man who is crooked in his ways. Proverbs 28:6
Reading for today: Proverbs 28:1-28
It’s better to be poor and have great integrity than to be rich with none. We see this at every corner of our society. “I don’t care what others think of me! I am looking out for number one no matter what it takes!” What gain is this? We all know people like this and our opinions of them are not very high. So why do we let ourselves fall in to this category all the time? Do we want people to look at us and see selfishness and greed or do we want them to see what is most important to us: Christ.
