Whoever is slow to anger has great understanding, but he who has a hasty temper exalts folly. Proverbs 14:29

Reading for today: Proverbs 14:1-35

Big lesson here: don’t be quick to judge a circumstance. WAIT until you have all the FACTS and not all the opinions, including your own. When you are quick to come to a conclusion, the Bible says here that it “exalts folly” meaning it makes you look like a fool. But when we take a moment, maybe a deep breath or two, it helps us get to a “great understanding” of what really happened or is happening.
