Volunteer Highlight: Andy Wendling

I love being able to share what I experienced when I came to Friendship for the first time!
Aside from being our resident Packers Cheesehead, Andy Wendling serves as an Elder and heads up the Welcome Team. One of his most memorable events at Friendship was baptizing his daughter Emerson during Sunday Nights.

What brought you to Friendship originally?
We knew it was close by so looked it up online and it seemed to be the best fit for us locally. We were blown away from day one!
What is your favorite holiday?
Christmas…lots of food and spending time with family.
What is your favorite thing about volunteering?
I love being able to share what I experienced when I came to Friendship for the first time.
What is the last book you have read?
Overwhelmed by Perry Noble.

Mighty Mouse
If you had to choose one food to eat for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Pizza
What are you guilty pleasure foods?
Pizza, ice cream, wings, burgers…no guilt…just pleasure.
What is your proudest moment in life?
When my daughter accepted Christ.
What is your favorite part of Sunday mornings at Friendship?
Serving alongside others who want to share how much they love Friendship.
Do you have any pet peeves? If so, what are they?
Lying and laziness

I can count to 10 in French AND Spanish!
