Reading for today: Proverbs 1:1-33
Temptation is a part of life. From the moment you hit the snooze bar to get “just a minute more” we are tempted or enticed to do things we know are wrong. The older I get the more amazed I am at my constant struggle with different temptations. The minute I feel I have mastered a segment of my life, another one rears its ugly head and starts giving me fits. It reminds me of another verse in the Bible which says, “…be careful if you think you are standing, because you might just slip and fall.” No matter how old you get, there is always a temptation out there waiting to catch you in a weak moment, so always be prepared.
