What’s behind us and what’s before us, pales in comparison to who’s in us!

Two terrifying questions:

  1. What if my best days are behind me?

  2. What if my dreams are dying or dead?

What’s behind us and what’s before us, pales in comparison to who’s in us!

Colossians 1:27, 29 NLT
For God wanted them to know that the riches and glory of Christ are for you Gentiles, too.And this is the secret: Christ lives in you. This gives you assurance of sharing his glory…That’s why I work and struggle so hard, depending on Christ’s mighty power that works within me.

Ephesians 1:18-20 NLT
I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope he has given to those he called—his holy people who are his rich and glorious inheritance. I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms. page1image36693952 page1image36684544 page1image36686272 page1image36691072page1image36691840

We tend to…
• Idolize the past
• Ignore the present • Fear the future

Romans 8:15 Message Paraphrasepage1image36684352 page1image36696448
This resurrection life you received from God is not a timid, grave-tending life. Its adventurously expectant, greeting God with a childlike “What’s next, Papa?”

We need to…
• Learn from the past, but not live in it
• Evaluate our present and make necessary corrections
