Jesus tells us that when someone becomes a disciple, or what we would call a Christian today, the next step in the process of spiritual growth is to “go public” with their faith. Baptism symbolizes a person’s commitment to Christ (Romans 6:4-6). Baptism doesn’t make you a Christian, it simply let’s everyone else know that you are a Christian.

PARENTS PLEASE NOTE: Prior to being baptized any child 12 years old/4th grade and under, along with their parent(s), will need to meet with our Children’s Ministry Director, Jamie Hampton. She will contact the parent for a meeting.

At Friendship when someone gets Baptized, it’s a party! We dedicate different times throughout the year to come together for what we call “Sunday Nights.” This night of worship is filled with celebrating baptisms and communion.

We don’t always do Sunday Nights, but when we do, it’s a party!

Details for the 2018 Sunday Nights are TBD.

Childcare is provided for ages 5 & under.

If you’re interested in learning more about or are ready to be baptized please fill out the form below and we will be in touch with you right away.
