"My favorite thing about volunteering is Watching how all the parts of The Body of Christ work together to make something beautiful. I'm awed and thrilled at how wonderfully different God made us all, and gave us different talents. To see it all working together, and being part of it, is something to behold."

At Friendship we believe the Church is not a building, it’s people, serving together to glorify God as an effective and influential church. So, each week, we’ll highlight a volunteer or staff member who serves at Friendship, because our volunteers and staff make everything we do possible! We’ve asked each person some fun questions to help you get to know them better.

This week, we’d like to introduce you to Don Stewart, an Elder and drummer at Friendship. His favorite holiday is Ground Hogs Day and his favorite hobby is hunting ground hogs…need we say more?

Scroll down to learn more about Don, especially if you’re in need of a good chuckle!

Aimee and I were actually here at the beginning of Friendship Church (actually before when it was Friendship Baptist Church) and I interviewed Pastor Dave for the position! We saw God’s leading and wanted to be part of this story.
