Wisdom is the ability to both understand and apply knowledge.

In the book of Proverbs we are compelled by King Solomon to pursue wisdom at all costs, in fact he says, if it costs you all you have…get it! Wisdom has the power to make our break our lives, and our level of wisdom will influence every decision we make. Solomon points out that we can respond to wisdom in one of four ways. We can be wise, and apply wisdom to our lives, we can be naive and avoid wisdom all together, we can be a fool by disregarding it, or we can be a mocker by making fun of it. Where are you on the way of wisdom?

Friendship Church is dedicated to equipping you with all the tools necessary for spiritual growth. The format of The 31 Days of Wisdom Proverbs Reading Plan is very simple. Each day includes a daily Bible passage, a verse from the section of Scripture you will be reading, and some thoughts and encouragement from one of our pastors. As you read be sensitive to what God is trying to teach you, and be looking for a verse or two that has special significance for your life. Rewrite the verse(s) in a journal, phone, or wherever you take notes, and explain why it impacted you. Finish your time by thanking God for teaching you what he did.

Just imagine, for the next 31 days you will be taught about everything from leadership, godliness, parenting, finance, relationships, etc…from the wisest, richest, most powerful man that ever lived, so get ready!
