The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous man runs into it and is safe. Proverbs 18:10
Reading for today: Proverbs 18:1-24
You want safety? You want protection? The Lord Jesus Christ is the only safe haven for us. The great promise is that if you have put your faith in Jesus Christ as your savior you are protected in the shelter of His arms. I love what the writer says here that the Lord is a “strong tower”. Can you just imagine the visual here of God’s strength being represented by a huge tower that can never be overtaken? We should rejoice in the strength of our great God.
