What Do I Do?

Jesus, fully God, has an endless list of words ascribed to who He is and what He is like. It can almost be overwhelming at times when people are saying you should be “like Christ”. That infinite list can be and IS impossible to live up to. Through His Spirit we can live out these characteristics without relying on our own flesh….

If you’re like me, you need something simple to remember these attitudes. Ten years ago it was “WWJD?” but isn’t that the question we want the answer too? If you ask yourself what Jesus would do but don’t know the answer what good is that?

That’s why I love the simplicity of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Again, through Him, we CAN know what He would do and in turn what we should do:

“He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness.” – John 1:14b, NLT

“‘You must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’t  This is the first and greatest commandment.  A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’t  The entire law and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments.”
