To Be With The Lord Forever

 We have a list a mile long of things we want, position or status we desire, an amount of money we need to have in our bank account.  We have our eyes fixed on the world we live in and try to figure out what we need to measure up.  Some of us walk down this path intentionally, some us get of course and don’t even realize it until a huge detour sign drops infront of us.  But how wrong we are to go down this path.  We have to fix our eyes on the one thing, the only thing that breathes life into our hearts each day.  To be able to pray to God as the Psalmist David prayed,  to only ask for one thing and for that one thing to be with the LORD forever.

Psalm 27:4 One thing I ask from the LORD,
   this only do I seek:
that I may dwell in the house of the LORD
   all the days of my life,
to gaze on the beauty of the LORD
   and to seek him in his temple.
