The Love of God Perfected

Too many times people around us get the wrong impression of Christ and God. It’s mostly our fault. We are the ones who are around them to show them the vast love of Christ in the way we live and the things we say. But how can we, imperfect people, EVER show the perfect love of God to our lost friends?! It seems impossible!

But God tells us than his love is perfected in us when we keep his Word. When we actually follow what the Bible teaches, then as we grow in righteousness, God’s love will be revealed more and more in our lives.

“He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world. And by this we know that we have come to know him, if we keep his commandments. Whoever says “I know him” but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him, but whoever keeps his word, in him truly the love of God is perfected. By this we may know that we are in him: whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked.” [1John 2:2-6]

Walk the way you should. Not the way you feel. Make God’s perfect love shine through you.
