Pride is the enemy of success. If you struggle with pride, you will always be grasping for success. It will always seem to be beyond your reach, or it will constantly be slipping through your fingers. Only when you embrace your frailty and accept your limitations will you begin to find success.
This is not some self-abasing “I’m not worthy” self-help stuff, this is divinely inspired, practical counsel. Only when you acknowledge God’s total control over everything, and his singular ability to promote or demote everyone and anyone will you begin to experience the success that God intends for you.
