The Best Thing

Most times it’s tough as a responsible adult to know where to direct your energy and efforts. If you put it towards your job, the paycheck and promotions are huge, but your family suffers. If you neglect your responsibilities at work, you could lose the job that provides for your family.

And what about fun? We all want to make sure there is some leisure time in there so we begin to put that at the top of the list for a season but then your boss is on you about being lazy and your family feels like you’re not keeping their interests first. You just can’t seem to win at everything.

Oh yeah, you forgot about God again. When’s the last time you took your family to church or much less opened your Bible? Now you really blew it.

How can we manage all the responsibilities that are attached to being an adult?

The best thing we can do for our family, church, & teams is to keep God first. Because of that sole priority, God’s guiding hand will be on your family, church, & team.

“Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.” (Matthew 6:33 NLT)

Keep Jesus first. It’s the best thing.
