Sunday Is Coming…
For those who trust their eternal salvation in Jesus Christ, this Sunday is a big, BIG day. But the days leading up to it may not be as joyous as we would like. Often times in our crazy lives we get so wrapped up in the trouble we face head on. I can only imagine the hopelessness that Jesus disciples must have felt when he was killed. Even though Jesus had told them it was necessary and that everything really would be alright, they were overcome with fear and sorrow. If they only remembered that Sunday was coming…
“But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man. For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive. ” (1 Corinthians 15:20-22, NIV)
My prayer for you is that despite what trouble you see head on right now, that you would know that Jesus is bigger than any of that. After all, he CONQUERED sin and death. Surely he can do anything we ask of Him.
