Struggling With Consistency!
Do you ever struggle with being consistent in your life? I know I do, whether it’s with my Bible study, prayer time, eating right, exercising, relationships, etc… Consistency seems to be a constant battlefield.
Recently I found a Psalm that I have begun to pray back to God on a regular basis. Hopefully, it will give you encouragement and hope as it has me. First, in realizing that almost everyone struggles with being consistent and second, in knowing that even King David struggled with consistency…
Oh, that my actions would consistently
reflect your decrees!
Then I will not be ashamed
when I compare my life with your commands.
As I learn your righteous regulations,
I will thank you by living as I should!
I will obey your decrees.
Please don’t give up on me!
