Staying On Course!

Staying on the right path takes commitment, persistence, and awareness. On the other hand, straying from the right path doesn’t take much effort at all.

As a matter of fact, when we find ourselves going the wrong way we don’t always understand how we got there. The apostle Paul speaks of running a good race but suddenly someone cuts in and impedes your progress. Recognizing that danger is essential for everyone who wants to win at this thing we call life.

You were running a good race. Who cut in on you and kept you from obeying the truth? That kind of persuasion does not come from the One who calls you. A little yeast works through the whole batch of dough. Galatians 5:7-9
