Slacker
You’ve probably heard it said somewhere that everything we do in life is meant to honor God; to worship Him. That’s why we’re here. That’s the reason for our existence. That’s it.
“So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” [1 Cor. 10:31]
Knowing that truth, what reasonable excuse do we have to do things in a lazy, “I really don’t care” fashion”? If we carry out our tasks like that, what sort of glory does that bring to God? Even more than that, what does that say to other people about our God?
God says that laziness and the work of a slacker is the brother of those who destroy.
“Whoever is slack in his work
is a brother to him who destroys.” [Proverbs 18:9]
How you do things matters. Please understand that.
Your response is everything.
