Signs of Jesus
John 20:30-31 Jesus performed many other signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not recorded in this book. 31 But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.
The signs and miracles of Jesus that are recorded in the Bible are truly amazing. The fact that they are not all told to us makes me wonder what awesome things we are missing out on. We know the ones God chooses to tell us about were for the purpose of us believing that He is Messiah, the one chosen to save our souls. So why were we not told of Jesus other signs? It makes me think of Paul Harvey’s “The Rest of The Story”. We wait anxiously on the edge of our seats to hear the many things we do not know about. Take the time to read through the Gospels- Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John so see what we do get the privileged to know about. Close your eyes and allow yourself to imagine everything taking place. The people in the Bible are not “characters” in a play or story; these are real people would lived and breathed in history. Get to know the background of their lives, the emotions, and place yourself in their shoes. It will change your perspective.
