Rescue Me!

2 Peter 2:9 if this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue godly men from trials and to hold the unrighteous for the day of judgment, while continuing their punishment.

It’s good to know that we have a God who wants to rescue us! I know that I sure need it at times! When trials seem too big, too overwhelming and definitely too stressful cry out to God. He is far better than a friend or relative, not to mention He gets it done the right way.

But don’t ignore the second part of this verse. A righteous life is a must! What do you need to change? Granted perfection is something we will never acquire on this earth but the hearts attempt is what God sees and knows.
