When we engage politically let’s do so biblically!
We all have our own political views and differences. But there should be things that all Christians should agree on, because our final authority isn’t some political or even religious party, it’s the Word of God.

- If you don’t know your rights, how can you stand up for them?
- If God speaks about something, it is truth!
- As Christians we’re all supposed to pray, but at some point in time we have to get off our knees and do something.
- More important than my rights is my calling to tell people about Jesus.
- The testimony of Christ is far more important than your party or who is President.

As this election gets closer and closer we need to focus on what we can be thankful for and how we can use that to go and make a difference in our world. Check out 1 Thessalonians 5:12-28 for more about what we discussed!

At Bedtime:
Pray with your child thanking God for ALL that he has done. List the many blessings you have been given, and think of ways you can use those blessings to make a positive difference in someone’s life this week!

SOCKTOBER CONTINUES! Kids have been challenged to bring in socks for kids, and grown ups for the ENTIRE month of October! We can change our world, and impact families right here in our own community! A little bit of love goes a long way. How can your family get involved in the #SOCKTOBER service challenge?
