Next

In our culture, we are consumed with what’s next. What’s the next big song, great movie, fashion movement, TV show, or the next big thing for you.

How come we are not so obsessed about moving on the NEXT step in our walk with Jesus? We prayed the prayer and bought a Bible, “what else is there? I’m pretty content right there! I’m in the club now, right?”

While we believe the Bible when it says we have assurance in our salvation, that Christ paid for it ONCE and for ALL, we ignore the part that calls us into an action of growth because “growth” is hard.

“Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling”
(Philippians 2:12)

God is interested in what’s next. He’s into movement; going forward with Him.

So what’s next for you? I urge you to get up and move, now.
