Love Is…

1 Corinthians 13: 4- 8a 4Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
8Love never fails.

With Valentines Day quikly approaching we think of what we will do for that special someone in our lives. Will it be flowers, chocolate, a night of dinner and dancing??? For some of us we put great thought into this decision. For others we hope on our drive home from work
(on Feb. 14th) that the local grocery store will have something left you can just pick up. Wether your the first case or the second take the time to mull over the words we find in the above verses. Do you treat that special someone with the love descibed in these verses, only you can evalute this.
So here’s the challenge…don’t just stop in and pick up something or be elaborate is your giving. Pour over him/her with the love God describes. Do it His way not your own.
