Love Is…
Countless books have been written on the subject of love, relationships, dating, marriage, and all the rest. But, if you had the opportunity to sit at the feet of the one who created love, what would you learn? Better yet what practices or habit would you change?
Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. – 1 Corinthians 13:4-7
- Are you patient and kind with your spouse?
- Do you get easily jealous?
- How easily to you become proud and satisfied with your efforts to love them?
- Who’s the person you are quickest to be ugly to?
- When was the last time you chose to intentionally ‘lose’ an argument?
- Does having to always replace the toilet paper tick you off?
- Do you always have to remind them of how often they’ve let you down or missed your expectations?
- Are you thinking about giving up?
- Have you lost faith in your mate?
- Are you still believing and hoping that things will get better?
- Have the circumstances your currently in kept you from showing the kind of love you need to show?
Just something to think about…
