Jesus Wept

John 11:35 Jesus wept.

This verse is very plain and simple but when the weight of the world is crashing down, it is good to know that my Savior wept. I feel so guilty when I’m overcome with tears but then Jesus gently reminds me it’s alright.
This is an emotion that God gave us and wants us to use. We don’t need to feel guilty. The world we live in is hard and sometimes it gets the better of us. Next time you find yourself feeling guilty for not being able to handle “everything” remind yourself that it’s “alright” and even Jesus knew how to have a good cry.
