James 5:12
Above all, my brothers, do not swear—not by heaven or by earth or by anything else. Let your “Yes” be yes, and your “No,” no, or you will be condemned.

Making sure you know where you stand with God is essential in your walk. If we base our beliefs on our church, parents, friends or tradition then how can we really know if our yes is truly from us and that our no is truly no. Our culture is strongly lacking in decisive thinking. God doesn’t need one more wishy washy Christian following the flow of whatever is popular. God demands passion and conviction from us.

So do you know what you and you alone believe about God and His Word? If not, you NEED to find out. If so, get deeper into the word and be able to give a solid answer for your God!
