How Are You Loving Others?
1 Corinthians 13:4-7 – “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.”
How do you define love? Have you ever thought about the love that you offer your loved ones, whether it’s your spouse, children, other family members, or even close friends? Are you mirroring the love that Christ calls us to, and what Paul is describing in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7? I’d encourage you to think about that as you go through your day, but pay close attention to how people are responding to the love you show them in your interactions. You never know, the love that you are providing in that moment, could be the only love they receive all day or even all week.
