Guarding Your Soul!

 He who guards his mouth and his tongue, Guards his soul from troubles. – Proverbs 21:23

An amazing truth found in Scripture is that you often cause much of your own problems.  If that is true than you, by nature of your choices, can create or eliminate some of your troubles.

This potent piece of instruction from Solomon tells us to watch what we say carefully.  He actually goes as far as saying that we need to place a guard or sentinel at our tongue to keep it from saying stupid things that will eventually negatively influence us.

Take a serious look at your words, and see if you’ve become your own worse enemy!
